Between the 9th International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC) in South-Korea (Seoul, 2011) and the 10th IGCC in Italy (Verona, 2013), the Insubria University presents the 1st International Course on Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, with the patronage of International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA) and the Italian Research Group for Gastric Cancer (IRGGC). The Course is intended to be a comprehensive update and review on advanced gastric cancer staging and treatment from well-known international experts. Clinical, research, and educational aspects of the physician’s role in the era of stage-adapted therapy will be thoroughly analyzed.
